Mr Anil I had the good "fortune" of getting a test/interview/something from your company for the Hindu Job Fair in Trivandrum. I went there and a man told me "we are looking for people with 2+ years experience in java" And just took the resume from me and my friends. I dont have a good acads and was surprised when i got the mail. Then I thought that you people must have searched into the submissions and found some interestinf facets. My seminars, projects, interests. cluster etc... And i was glad that atleast one company was willing to look beyond acads and into talent. I brushed on some stuff for this and put in some work. Thats Ok.Because knowledge is always good. Whats not Ok is spoiling my weekend and making me drag myself to there. Atleast I live close by.What about people from other districts? There were guys from Palakkad and Kottayam coming here and going emptyhanded. A interview or test would have sufficed them...Atleast that would have happened... And dont tell me that we were late... we came to fischer the first thing in the morning... I am writing this here because I may have the satisfaction that you will look at this atleast sometime... And i dont wish to mail to ur company and get a autogenerated email or from an HR Bot reply... Thank you for this space Narayan S S
I am one of the representatives of Fischer, attended the job fair.
We can understand your feelings. But it was not our mistake. As you are aware, the fair was organised by Hindu. They are sending out invitation letters to candidates. It was fully their mistake to send out invitations to freshers in our name. If you can go through the advertisements given by our company, you can see that we invited only experienced persons.
I would like to invite your attention to the fact that, Hindu officials took the responsibility and posted few volunteers to talk to freshers and direct them to other companies looking for freshers. On sunday morning, they also announced that freshers who received invitation on behalf of fischer systems, must go to other companies.
That suffices the issue I think... I am really sorry if I put you people in any trouble regarding this issue... Give this the merit of the ranting of a frustrated student(s) who had to stand in the hot sun just to get inside. Thank you for the reply. ciao
